Look for a new date. Noted Virginia Wildflowers blogger Cynthia Wood will lead a walk along the Quarry Gardens’ main trail in search of Indian hemp, Goatsbeard, False indigo bush, Clasping milkweed, Swamp milkweed, New Jersey tea, Turtlehead, Wild basil, Mouse ear coreopsis, Summer bluets, Spike lobelia, Coral honeysuckle, Whorled loosestrife, Spadderdock, White waterlily, Foxglove beardtongue, Carolina rose, Purple-flowering raspberry, Lyre-leaf sage—and many others.
The walk will be held unless there is heavy rain. (The plants glow and photograph beautifully in light rain or mist.)
As the event will be outdoors, masks are optional.
