Father’s Day Trail Walk with Armand and Bernice

A brief introduction to the QGs project and the history of soapstone mining, followed by a walk along the main trail around the quarries. Among the plant communities, look for Thimbleweed, Milkweed, Flowering spurge, St. John’s worts, Blazing star, Monkeyflower, Wild bergamot, Spotted bee balm, white waterlily, Quill fame flower, Pickerel weed, Mountainmints, Black snakeroot, Lizard’s tall’s, Early goldenrod, Arrowwood viburnum and others.

Bring a lunch and enjoy it in the picnic pavilion.
