Spring Ephemerals Walk

An introduction to the Quarry Gardens project in the Visitor Center, followed by a walk along the main trail. This walk will be a search for early spring ephemerals—those plants that take advantage of longer days and sunlight streaming though leafless tree canopies to do their seductive and reproductive thing.

We’ll go unless there is heavy rain. (The plants glow and photograph beautifully in light rain or mist.)
