Saturday Morning Trail Walk

Armand or Bernice Thieblot, co-owners of the Quarry Gardens, will lead this tour. A brief introduction to the QGs project and the history of soapstone mining In the Visitor Center will be will be followed by a guided walk along the main trail around the quarries. Among the plant communities, look for Upland ironweed,  New England aster, Goldenrods, Woolgrass, Rose pink, Joe Pye weed, Wild petunia, Partridge pea, Turtlehead, Mistflower, Passionflower, Wild bergamot, Spotted beebalm, White water lily, Thoroughwort, Quill fameflower, Pickerelweed, four species of Mountainmint, and many others.

Consider bringing a picnic to enjoy in the pavilion.
