Saturday Afternoon Walk

In November, we begin to see the beauty of winter landscape as the gardens settle down and views open up. This final scheduled walk of the 2022 season will be led by one of The Quarry Gardens’ founders. We’ll begin in the Visitor Center with an introduction to soapstone quarrying in Schuyler and the many ecosystems within the gardens, and continue with a walk along the main trail, through prairie, woodland, and wetland settings surrounding the quarries.
