Quarry Gardens co-owner Bernice Thieblot, will lead this walk among spring wildflowers. We will begin with a brief introduction to the QGs project and the history of Schuyler soapstone mining in the Visitor Center, then follow the trail around the quarries.
Along the way, we may find Shooting stars, Rue anemone, Pussytoes, Wild columbine, Green and gold, Dwarf larkspur, Wild geranium, Alumroot, Bluets, Dwarf crested iris, Golden ragwort, Native phlox, Mayapple, Solomon’s seal, Wild pink, Spring beauty, Foamflower, Mountain and Perfoliated bellworts, Heartleaf, Golden alexanders—and many others.
