Saturday Afternoon Trail Walk with Armand

Armand Thieblot, co-owner of the Quarry Gardens, will lead this tour. In the Visitor Center, he will introduce the QGs project and the history of soapstone mining. Then, he will lead a walk along the main trail around the quarries where may found a plethora of spring flowers, including Virginia bluebells, Marsh marigolds, Dwarf larkspurs, Dwarf crested irises, Wild geraniums, Moss phlox, and many others.

The tour will take about two hours.
